More Change for IOC 2014 Olympics Bid Panel
(ATR) One more IOC member has dropped off the Evaluation Commission for the 2014 Olympics, less than a month before the panel is to begin its visits to PyeongChang, Salzburg and Sochi.

| | The IOC received word last week that Willem Alexander, the Prince of Orange, has been forced to resign from the group due to other commitments. These include his work for the United Nations clean water campaign.
The resignation leaves the 13-member commission with three IOC members: chair Chiharu Igaya of Japan, Kai Holm of Denmark and Rebecca Scott of Canada.
The IOC Evaluation Commission was hit with three other resignations shortly after it was named in September.
IOC member in Germany Walther Troeger stepped down to avoid conflict of interest issues, because the bobsleigh course for the Salzburg bid lies in Germany. One of the technical experts, a German from the International Ski Federation, resigned to avoid a similar conflict as Troeger's.
Italian Olympics expert Luciano Barra resigned because he said he did not have the time to devote to the commission, which will require weeks of work by the members.
While the technical experts have been replaced, no additional IOC members are expected to be named to the commission, Around the Rings is told.
The commission travels to PyeongChang from Feb. 14-17, Sochi the following week, Salzburg in mid-March.
