2020 Report Due
The wait ends Tuesday for the 2020 IOC Evaluation Commission Report.
The document will be published on Olympic.org
at 11 a.m. Lausanne time.
The release follows a series of inspection visits to Istanbul, Tokyo and Madrid made throughout April by the 2020 Evaluation Commission.
With the report in hand, IOC members head to Lausanne next week for the 2020 Candidate Cities Briefing, then travel to Buenos Aires about 10 weeks later to vote for an Olympics host Sept. 7.
Confeds Cup Closes

FIFA’s 2013 Confederations Cup comes to a close this week.
Semifinals are scheduled for Wednesday in Belo Horizonte and Thursday in Fortaleza with the final to follow Sunday in Rio de Janeiro.

Busy Week for Rogge
IOC President Jacques Rogge presides over Olympic Day festivities Monday in Lausanne, then travels to Singapore for the IOC Athletes’ Forum from Thursday to Saturday.
The forum is a chance for the IOC to get feedback from the athletes’ committees of various Olympic organizations.
Rugby Sevens World Cup
The 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens runs Friday to Sunday at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
Australia is the women’s defending champion and Wales the men’s.
