    (ATR) Japanese professional sports leagues proceed with Tokyo 2020 officials monitoring developments and spectator access amid coronavirus fears.

    Nippon Professional Baseball's two leagues, the Central and the Pacific, started their seasons three months late on June 19 and without spectators in attendance. Stadiums are expected to be opened up to fans on July 10.

    Olympic Day Inspires With Massive Virtual Workout

    (ATR) Get active on Olympic Day!
    That is the message as Olympians worldwide take to Instagram Live leading Olympic Day workouts to inspire all to stay active, stay healthy and stay strong.

    A highly diverse group of athletes, spread across 20 time zones, hosted varied, high-tempo and enthusiastic 25-minute workouts on the @Olympics Instagram channel in celebration of Olympic Day 2020. The workouts each took place at 11 a.m. local time in their corresponding time zones.

    Santiago 2023 sumara mas deportes

    Esta disciplina hizo su debut oficial en los Juegos Panamericanos durante la última versión de Lima. (Panam Sports)
    (ATR) La Federación Internacional de Fisicoculturismo y Fitness (IFBB) está en la mejor disposición de apoyar la presencia de este deporte en el programa de los Juegos Panamericanos de Santiago de Chile en 2023.

    El presidente de la IFBB, el español Rafael Santonja, dijo a Around the Rings desde Madrid, que si bien aún no se ha entrado en los detalles del respaldo material,la federación internacional “apoya plenamente a la Confederación Panamericana en cualquier cosa que pueda necesitar “ en el sentido de su inclusión en Santiago 2023.

    “Consideramos que hay buenas posibilidades” dijo Santonja quien reveló estar en contacto con el Comité Ejecutivo y la Comisión Técnica de Panam Sports, y los organizadores chilenos.
