NOC Sri Lanka Conducts Academic Programme Virtually
Despite of all the odds, the 5th session of the 7th Advanced Sport Management Course - ASMC was successfully conducted virtually via BlueJeans last weekend –June 27-28.
The course was conducted while respecting all the COVID-19 guidelines by the Ministry of Health.
This has been encountered as a very first occasion that the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC Sri Lanka) conducted a course virtually in its history. 17 participants representing various sports sectors were part of the programme and it was conducted by the ASMC Programme Director of NOC Sri Lanka - Mr. B.L.H. Perera. “Participants’ attempt could consider as a new
experience due to its context”, B.L.H. Perera said.
While the participants presented their case studies related to the chapter - Managing Marketing on Saturday and Mrs. Lalitha Mendis delivered lectures on Managing Finance the following day. The case studies of the Managing Finance shall be presented by the participants in the next session to be held on 22-23 August 2020
