    Major Overhaul for Iconic Lake Placid Venues

    The 1932 and 1980 Winter Games ice rinks are the latest Lake Placid Olympic venues to be receiving a refresh.

    As part of the ice rink renovations, the refrigeration system that keeps them and and the speedskating oval frozen will be replaced.

    Adirondack Daily Enterprise says the revamp project is estimated to be completed by next year, before the World University Games are scheduled to be held in January 2023.

    Alex Morgan, Sue Bird, Simone Manuel and Chloe Kim collaborated to establish TOGETHXR. The media and commerce company seeks to boost women’s voices across all platforms.

    Abuse Survivors Want Closure After Coach's Suicide

    Olympic gymnastics coach John Geddert committed suicide hours after being charged with abusing young gymnasts.

    That has left many of his victims without a feeling of closure and wanting justice through other means, including an independent investigation into USA Gymnastics and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee.
