(ATR) More than 700 km from Beijing, another Chinese city is making plans to host the Olympics. Work is underway in Qingdao, a city of 7 million on the shore of the China Sea to prepare for the sailing events in the 2008 Games.
Unlike events in Beijing where test events will not take place until the year before the Olympics, the custom with sailing calls for annual test event beginning in 2006.
