Hotel Pact Signed For Beijing Games
(ATR) - Seven of Beijing's top hotels are the first to sign the Olympic Lodging Agreement for the 2008 Games.
The agreements were signed in a ceremony at the Beijing Hotel, one of the seven that also includes the Grand Hotel Beijing, Swissotel, Beijing International Hotel, Kunlun Hotel and Crowne Plaza.
These hotels will provide 3,500 rooms for use by the Olympic Family, sponsors and media. Beijing organizers say they will sign another 70 hotels in the coming year for a total of 23,000 rooms needed for the Olympics.
