Rogge with Flu Drops Vancouver Trip
(ATR) - International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge will miss a trip to Vancouver this week due to the flu. The IOC President was to make his first visit to the British Columbia since Vancouver won the 2010 Winter Games at the July IOC Session.
Rogge, who keeps a busy travel calendar, so far is still scheduled for a trip to Australia next week for the finals of the Rugby World Cup.
Meanwhile other events in Vancouver continue as scheduled. On November 13, the IOC's top experts on the Games will hold a day-long briefing with leaders of business and government on staging the Olympics. And on November 14, the Weightlifting World Championships will get underway at Canada Place.
