  • Athens Olympics Keep Fans Satisfied

    (ATR) A survey conducted by Athens 2004 reveals a high level of consumer satisfaction among the crowds during the first week of the 2004 Games.

    With just over 1,000 people surveyed, ATHOC reports that 97% were happy with Games security, 95% satisfaction with the help from staff and volunteers, while transportation rated an 82% satisfaction level.

    Day 12 will see the resumption of the formerly daily meetings of the IOC coordination commission chaired by the IOC president. The meetings have taken a couple of breaks due to the absence of any issues to resolve.

    On the sports side, the women?s triathlon is held today in the seaside suburb of Vouliagmeni, Cuba and Canada will meet for the gold medal in baseball.

    The new director of marketing for the International Olympic Committee has arrived in Athens for his first meetings with sponsors and the media.
