(ATR)High winds have forced changes to some of the sailing events on the second day in a row. While winds have diminished since Monday, there was still enough bluster to lead to postponements in the Mistral and 470 classes.
At the rowing venue in Schinias, competition postponed twice as a result of wind took place without problem, rescheduled to the afternoon instead of the usual start in the morning.
Other events are taking place as scheduled throughout Athens on day four of competition, with 11 gold medals to be awarded in five sports, including one of the glamour events of the Games, women?s team gymnastics.
A full house is expected at the Helliniko Indoor Arena for the men?s basketball match between Greece and the U.S. The hall, a former aircraft hangar, seats 15,000.
Yesterday, more than 6,700 spectators, perhaps the biggest crowd ever to attend a baseball game in Greece, watched Cuba beat Greece 5-4 in a first round game.
