(ATR) A gathering of 2,012 students from across France is part of commemorations this week in Paris for World Olympics Day. Also in Paris this week is Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein, president of the Jordan National Olympic Committee.
Prince Feisal visited Stade de France and Roland Garros, two of the venues in the Paris bid for the Games. Feisal, who is hoping to bring the Asian Games to Jordan, received a presentation on the use of temporary facilities in the Paris bid.
"There are many lessons that Jordan can take from this model for our Bid to host the Asian Games," said the NOC chief.
In addition to the selected group of young people from across France this week, events for Olympics Day include a June 23 walk through the streets of Paris ending at Stade de France.Your best source of news about the Campaign for 2012 is www.aroundtherings.com, for subscribers only.
