(ATR) Italian police raided the offices of the Agenzia Torino 2006 on Thursday, seizing documents related to a road construction project for the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Agenzia Torino is the corporation set up to construct the infrastructure projects needed for the Games.
The investigation apparently does not affect the operations of TOROC, a separate entity that runs the Olympic Games.
Prosecutors suspect that bribes may have been involved in some of the bids for projects carried out by the Agenzia. The raid was staged by the Guardia di Finanza, a special tax police unit.
