PyeongChang Coordination Commission
The first Coordination Commission visit to PyeongChang, host of the 2018 Olympics, is scheduled for March 20 – 23.
It will be the first visit since PyeongChang was awarded the Games at the IOC Session last year.

Women’s Curling World Championships

Action continues in the World Women’s Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Canada.
Competition runs from March 17 – 25.
Twelve teams in all are competing.
El Salvador and Canada kickoff the CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament on March 22.
Eight teams from North America and the Caribbean are competing for two spots in the London Olympics.
Matches will take place at venues throughout the United States with a winner being decided on April 2.

Football Confederation Men’s Pre-Olympic Football Tournament ends March 24. The winner earns an Olympic berth.
Taupo, New Zealand is the venue for the final.
In women’s hockey, Olympic Qualification Tournament 2 takes place March 17 -25 in Kontich, Belgium. The winner joins the 10 other teams already qualified for the Games.
March 19 marks 130 days until the London Olympics and 163 days until the Paralympics.
