    Lydia Nsekera (ATR)
    (ATR) IOC member since 2008 and in 2013 the first female elected to the FIFA executive committee.

    The Burundi sports leader will play a leading role for the federation in this year of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

    At 37, Nsekera is emblematic of the next generation of leadership for the IOC as a member of key commissions such as marketing, Tokyo 2020 and Women and Sport, which she chairs.
