Anita DeFrantz (ATR)
(ATR) In her latest stint as a member of the IOC Executive Board (previously from 1992-2001), DeFrantz will be one of the insiders to curry support for the new bid from the U.S.
She is 10th in seniority on the IOC with 17 years to go before retirement. She is a member of the Tokyo 2020 coordination commission and one of the lawyers on the Juridical Commission. DeFrantz, 63, is a lawyer and Olympic rower. She is a vice president of rowing federation FISA, and president of the LA84 Foundation that supports youth sports in Southern California.
