    (ATR) This IOC vice president is following progress towards the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016 as the chair of the IOC coordination commission.

    Moutawakel will leave the executive board after her term ends in 2016 but at age 52, seems likely to return in the future.

    The Moroccan athletics pioneer is a vice president of the IAAF and could be one of the candidates for the presidential election in 2015. Regardless, she will be one of the important leaders of the federation for years to come.
