European correspondent Brian Pinelli spoke with ATR
on Monday and said many were looking forward to 3x3 basketball in Baku.
Pinelli, who is in the Azerbaijani capital covering the Games, said the most disappointing venue at the event is the media village.
"At the same time, the cost is the lowest compared to Olympics," he added.
"And the athletes' village is very nice."
Baku opened the 2015 European Games on June 12.
Close to 7,000 athletes from 50 NOCs have packed the athletes' village over the past two weeks.
Despite lackluster attendance for a few events on the program and ticketing issues, many sports leaders who have spoken with ATR
deem the Games a success.
"Speaking to a few people, they do think that Azerbaijan has set the bar pretty high," Pinelli said.
"A lot of money and a lot of effort went into these Games."
