Key items on the agenda for the OCA included the re-election of Sheikh Ahmad for another four-year term as OCA president on Wednesday and awarding Hangzhou, China the 2022 Asian Games.
Ahmad addressed the assembly and said that the coming years will represent an "unprecedented era" for Asian sport, with Asian countries respectively hosting the 2018, 2020, and 2022 Olympic Games.
Prior to the general assembly this week, the OCA executive board and finance committee held meetings in Ashgabat.
This marked the 67th meeting of the OCA executive board.
