(ATR) The International Academy of Sport Science and Technology research center will host the 2017 Sports Event Management and Organization Seminar in the Olympic capital.
"I thoroughly recommend the program as an excellent way to gain valuable insight into the current state of play across a range of critical areas in the business of sport at large," SEMOS lecturer and Head of Olympic Games Knowledge Management (IOC) Christopher Payne said in a statement.
"Additionally, for anyone involved in event management, the importance of simply learning before doing cannot be underestimated. SEMOS™ is one excellent way participants can begin to fill the knowledge gaps so evident in poorly run events."
Over four days, course participants will explore topics including risk management, security, logistics, sponsorships, accreditation and more.
The 5th Asian Games Deputy Director Jose Dhooma, UCI Head of Marketing Cyrille Jacobsen, IOC Advisor Francess Lusack and FIVB Commercial Director Mario Medeiros Azevedo are among speakers of the event.
