(ATR) Visa, one of the founding TOP members in 1986, will continue to provide payment services at the Olympic Games.
The company is putting more emphasis on digital payment technologies at the Olympic Games. Visa will continue to work with organizing committees to organize those services in future host countries.
IOC president Thomas Bach said in a statement, "We are particularly happy with this extension of our partnership because Visa is one of the founding members of our TOP program. Our partnership with Visa demonstrates a shared commitment to the legacy of the Olympic Games and the global Olympic Movement. Visa has always been a driving force for innovation on the world's stage.”
Lynne Biggar, Visa’s chief marketing and communications officer, said, "Visa provides a secure and fast way to pay across merchants, borders and currencies, and the Olympic Games provides an unparalleled opportunity to promote the Visa brand at both a local market level and globally.”
London Stadium Partners with Coca-Cola
The venue signed the soft drink company to a deal that runs until 2023.
Coca-Cola products will be served throughout the stadium for all events, including West Ham United home games. The venue hosted almost 450,000 attendees over six concerts this summer.
“We are excited to welcome Coca-Cola and their full range of soft drinks to London Stadium, and are delighted to have agreed the partnership,” said London Stadium CEO Graham Gilmore.
“Our priority is to provide all guests to London Stadium with the best possible quality and range of beverages, and Coca-Cola’s range of products, reputation and pedigree in major sporting and music events meant that despite competition, they were the best possible partner for the venue.”
Tokyo Signs Park24 Co. as Official Supporter
The company will provide 24-hour parking services for the Olympic Games.
Park24 is the 51st domestic partner for Tokyo 2020 to go along with five worldwide Olympic partners.
Tokyo 2020 president Yoshiro Mori commented, “We are delighted to welcome Park24 as an Official Supporter. Park24 has provided public car park service under the TIMES brand through parking lot services, creating a society in which people can travel safely and comfortably, while caring for the environment.
