They join Olympic TOP sponsors Coca-Cola and Toyota as members of the highest tier in the Torch Relay partnership program.

The four companies are paying for the privilege to recruit torchbearers and conduct promotional activities using the Olympic Torch Relay emblem.

“We are pleased to welcome Nippon Life and NTT as Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay Presenting Partners. With the recruitment of these two companies, we now have all four Presenting Partners on board, Yoshiro Mori, President of Tokyo 2020, said in a statement.

“This is the largest number of Presenting Partners in the history of the Olympic Torch Relay, and I greatly appreciate the support and encouragement of all of them.”

World Archery Adds First Optics Company

    (World Archery)
Vanguard becomes the first optics company to join World Archery’s industry sponsorship program.

Under the partnership announced Friday, Vanguard will provide spotting scopes for televised finals at international events in 2019 on the Hyundai Archery World Cup circuit and at the Hyundai World Archery Championships.

Two of Vanguard’s Endeavour HD 82A model spotting scopes will be placed on the field. This will allow for microphones and cameras to be attached to each scope stand, further enhancing World Archery’s broadcast coverage.

“This new partnership gives us flexibility and an opportunity to innovate our broadcast product – but it would only be possible if we were certain the equipment we were placing on the field would live up to the expectations of our athletes and coaches,” World Archery secretary general Tom Dielen said in a statement.

Earlier this month, World Archery extended its partnership with target manufacturer Rinehart. The company extended its gold-level sponsorship for an additional two years through to the end of 2020.

As well as event exposure, logo access and asset use, Rinehart will be the presenting sponsor of a new online video series due to launch in 2019.

Rinehart has been a World Archery sponsor since 2016.

American Regent Animal Health Renews with US Equestrian

US Equestrian (USEF) and American Regent Animal Health this week announced a sponsorship renewal through November 30, 2022.

Under the agreement, American Regent Animal Health will remain an Official Partner and its product Adequan will continue to be the Official Joint Therapy Product of US Equestrian.

Adequan keeps its title sponsorship of the North American Youth Championships (NAYC) while adding three new designations: Adequan U.S. Para-Equestrian Dressage Team, Adequan USEF Para-Equestrian Dressage National Championships, and 2019 US Equestrian Annual Meeting Pegasus Dinner, presented by Adequan.

“Adequan is a longtime sponsor and partner of USEF and equestrian sport in the U.S., including para-dressage and our nation’s youth athletes,” said US Equestrian CEO Bill Moroney in a statement. “We are thrilled that they have chosen to extend their title sponsorship of NAYC and expand this to our para-equestrian dressage team and national championships. Their support contributes greatly to these athletes’ and their horses’ success both at home and on the international stage.”
