  • First Sustainable Cookbook for Athletes in Sweden

World Class Veggies, a joint project by the Swedish Olympic Committee and World Wildlife Fund (WWF), will develop vegetarian food to fit the special needs a world class athlete has when it comes to nutrition. The recipes will soon be available to a broader public through a cook book containing a great collection of vegetarian recipes for active people together with advice on how to eat more sustainable food and still be a world class athlete.

Five Swedish Olympic medalists are ambassadors for the project World Class Veggie: Charlotte Kalla, cross-country; Hanna Öberg, biathlon; André Myhrer, alpine skiing; Max Salminen, sailing and Peder Fredricson, equestrian. With Olympic athletes as role models, the project aims to show that anyone can switch to more sustainable food.
