(ATR) Kikkan Randall, IOC member in the U.S. has just finished her first session as an IOC member. The gold medal cross country skier at the 2018 Olympics was also elected to the IOC Athletes Commission and a seat on the IOC by fellow athletes.
But just months later, she was facing treatment for breast cancer, sidelining her work as an IOC member for a while. Her treatments are going well and she spent a week in Lausanne last month to attend her first full session as a member. She talks with ATR Editor Ed Hula.
