  • Leaders Announces Under 40 Class of 2019 for Leaders Sports Awards


    London - Thursday 1st August, 2019.

    To mark the fifth year of the Leaders Under 40 Award, and with over 450 entries from 31 different countries judged during a 9-month process, Leaders is today pleased to announce the 30 individuals that will make up the Leaders Under 40 Class of 2019. Since Leaders founded the award in 2015, it has fast become recognised for identifying the top-quality young talent in the international sport industry.

    The 30 individuals who hail from 10 different countries were selected for their leadership and exceptional contribution to moving the sport industry forward. The announcement of this year’s winners means Leaders’ Under 40 alumni now stretches to over 140 industry professionals.

    The entries were reviewed by an expert panel of over 100 senior industry executives from international organisations including the BBC, FIFA, Heineken, Sky, McLaren, Premier League, Paris Saint Germain FC, Arsenal FC, Formula 1, BT Sport, PUMA, Etihad Airways and many more. This was part of a rigorous judging process that was overseen by integrity partners Northridge Law.

    The Class of 2019 will be honoured at the Leaders Sports Awards on 9 October, at London’s Natural History Museum, immediately after the 2019 Leaders Sport Business Summit, which takes place on 8 and 9 October.
