SPORTEL, A MAJOR EDITION TO COME
Monaco, September 16, 2019
"I am delighted to celebrate the 30th anniversary of SPORTEL," explains Laurent Puons, CEO.
"The opportunity to recall the origin of the SPORTEL, an idea of Georges Bertellotti, a Monegasque sports journalist. He had the ambition to reward the most beautiful sports images, today SPORTEL Awards, and to bring together the sport business’ community, once a year in the Principality of Monaco, on the occasion of SPORTEL convention."
"During these 30 years, we have constantly followed market trends allowing SPORTEL Monaco to become a must for leaders in the sports media and technology industry. Same approach for SPORTEL Awards, which since last year, is no longer just a competition but a separate event, entirely free and open to the public."
SPORTEL Monaco - October 21-23
At a time when security of broadcast content and optimization of consumer experience are at the heart of broadcasters' challenges, we are noticing the presence of companies specialized in these new technologies.

SPORTEL has also taken the initiative to create a new space in the exhibition hall, the "Innovation Zone", allowing start-ups to present their innovations to the leaders in the sports media rights industry ESPN, BBC, BEIN, CANAL +, DISCOVERY EUROSPORT, FOX, FRANCE TV, NHK, RAI and SKY, who have also confirmed their attendance.
