    DAY 1 | COMPETITION BEGINS

    Following last night’s memorable Opening Ceremony from Lausanne, the first day of competition today features live streaming action in pairs figure skating and mixed team curling. And in the women’s Super-G at Les Diablerets Alpine Centre, Swiss skier Amelie Klopfenstein took home the first gold medal of Lausanne 2020.

    Coming up …. Highlighting this weekend’s competition are medal events in alpine skiing, biathlon, figure skating and speed skating from the Frozen Lake in St. Moritz.
